(4) Due to the increase in dipole distance of water molecules in the rinjection water, the attraction between water molecules and salt positive and negative ions increases, leading to the gradual cracking, loosening, and self detachment of existing old scale on the heating surface or pipe wall, as well as sedimentary scale in the reservoir.

Reasons for wax deposition

During the gathering and transportation process of high wax crude oil, due to the cooling of the gathering and transportation pipelines, wax components gradually precipitate and form small wax crystals. Dispersed asphaltene also adheres to the wax crystals or co crystallizes to form dispersed phases, while liquid hydrocarbons and colloidal continuous phases form dispersed suspension systems.
When the temperature drops below the freezing point, wax crystals unite to form a spatial network structure, encapsulating liquid hydrocarbons and causing the crude oil to lose its fluidity. This leads to an increase in crude oil viscosity, pressure loss in pipelines, a decrease in effective transportation capacity, and even blockage of oil pipelines.

(1) The high-intensity magnetic field arranges the magnetic nuclei in paraffin according to energy level rules and precesses around the magnetic field. This regular arrangement and precession kinetic energy of the magnetic nuclei increase the spacing between paraffin molecules during the crystallization process, making it difficult to overcome dispersion forces and form a three-dimensional network structure.

(2) After the regular arrangement of wax molecules, more crystal nuclei will appear in the same crude oil environment. During the crystallization process, the wax molecules in the crude oil will transform from liquid phase to solid phase faster, while releasing latent heat, which slows down the temperature of the crude oil during the flow process.

(3) The more crystal nuclei there are, the smaller the grain size, which is conducive to forming colloids with oil, being carried away by flowing crude oil, and not aggregating into a three-dimensional network structure, reducing sedimentation and achieving the effect of wax prevention and viscosity reduction.
